Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Junior High School students and teachers from Manye Academy and Augustina schools in Axim, Ghana recently visited the WHH facility to get their first peak at the internet! Generous North Americans donated the OLPCs to Ghana Together. We rebuild the software, repair them as needed, and deliver them to WHH.
Ghana Together works with our Ghanaian friends of Western Heritage Home, a Ghanaian-registered and managed non-profit, to improve social, educational, and health conditions in Axim, Ghana. Together we accomplish projects, connect WHH to resourceful individuals and organizations, and create sustainable programs. We make a real difference to real people in a local, grassroots effort. Our analyzers observed that the web site stated " We focus on the AximNzema District in the Western Region of Ghana, accomplishing projects with capable Ghanaian friends, connecting Axim citizens to resourceful individuals and organizations, and creating sustainable programs together." The Website also stated " Have you been looking for a way to get involved at the grassroots level?." The website's header had Ghana as the most important keyword. It was followed by Axim, Nzema, and Western Heritage Home which isn't as highly ranked as Ghana. The next words the site uses is WHH.
